Happy to be here.

About Me:
I am a person who leads a quiet life.
In some things people desire I feel very blessed.
In some things other people take for granted I dont feel blessed.
Feel inclined to believe the substance of what we experience
is initiated at a level not imediately obvious to the sojourner.
Not aspiring to grand heights.
Unimpressed by egoentric indulgence.
I am who I am.
Would try to convey that,
but words tend to exclusivity
rather than inclusiveness.

Things Leo Loves
Interests:
- I love love. What could be more deserving ? - Well,
- now that I think about it,
- - there are a few other pressing focuses for such attention. - Also,
- permaculture and most other horticulture related activities. - The whole spectrum of non alopathic health care,
- physiology,
- diet and nutrition,
- psychology. - Related to health care is metaphysics in the myriad of manifestations Life,
- Gaia and creation express itself with on a non physical plane. - Associated with metaphysics is astrology which is of special interest,
- though more academicly rather than intuitively. - Many other topics capture my attention,
- in particular,
- with regard to interpersonal relations and the evolution of circumstance there-in. The purpose of our interfacing with each other,
- whether for the sheer joy,
- tactile security,
- amusement,
- adventure. We each and all,
- are each others greatest asset.
Heroes:
Teachers:
- Elders,
- ... peers,
- ... people....Grandchildren ... - My daughter seizes the opportunity to instruct me. When that happens,
- I feel like a victim. - It is my experience that "life" is the most thorough guru,
- knowing exactly what needs attention in us most and1st .God help me,
- I have some issues to work through. All is well come what may. - My body and my psyche know well what is required,
- which is ok when I am willing to listen. - Not so when I am not. - Edgar Cayce,
- his readings often a reliable guide and stay,
- not having sought renumeration or egocentric expansion to excess..
Books:
- Yes,
- like books,
- but,
- they take up space and gather dust . - Reference works most readily justify the space they occupy. - My Thomson Chin Reference Bible always close at hand though not often refered to these days. - Lazy,
- changed focus. I know the book contains a treasure trove of jewels but,
- can only lead a horse to water. The ultimate in reference works,
- the human genome and,
- also,
- the Ashkeric record,
- where the history of our lives are said to be stored,
- according to Edgar Cayce,
- accomodated in a far off star system. - I find myself having an afinity with books. - Used to collect them indiscriminately. - Come time to move house,
- of nessecity,
- down sized them to managable quantity. - Yes,
- I like books. - Nice to be able to know,
- should some thing need to be known,
- that it is at hand and readily available,
- however,
- with the net and all it's "on tap" info,
- this is less an advantage. The space the superfluous book would have occupied could be put to more usefull purpose,
- so,
- my collection has been down sized considerably. - Retain Comprehensive unabridged dictionary,
- atlas,
- medical dictionary,
- thesaurus,
- 24 hr ephemeris,
- street and road guides,
- various biographys including Edgar cayce,
- Shirley Mclain,
- Nutritional Healing by Bach and Bach,
- complimentary medicine publications from colour healing to sound and crystal healing. - The topic in it's self interests me. - Herbal remedies (particularly with regard to metaphysical signatures) and acupuncture (or subtle body energies generally) in paticular capture my attention. - For those interested in astrology,
- I have Sun,
- Venus & Mars conjuncting in Virgo,
- 10th house and Mercury in Libra 11th. - Research and information are significant for me. The bulk of my remaining works relate to astrology and metaphysics generally. - Health and related disciplines are also generously represented. - Have enjoyed reading CS Lewis,
- ... The Screw tape letters ... The Lion,
- the whitch and the wardrobe... The Cosmic Trilogy ...
Music:
- I enjoy music. - This so with all creative enterprise. - To start i would like to declare,
- according to my understanding,
- music conforms to a definition describing a "harmonious sequence of sounds" producing a feeling of enhanced well being. Often,
- today,
- "music" or auditory stimulation,
- which is the apparent,
- desired product of the attention committed. A message,
- also,
- could be the purpose a whole exercise. Music. What is it ?. For me,
- my indulgence is appeasing. Aside from individual presentations such as "Royal telephone,
- Snoopy,
- SSnoopy returns,
- etc.,
- lots others,
- cant remember them well right now,
- my grand father had a road house with one of the 1st juke boxes in town,
- and us receiving the spent goods. An uncle,
- also,
- had the local theatre. My 2 brothers and i must have been terribly spoilt. We could just walk into the theatre without being bothered by ticket protocol. Brian Eno's "Pearl". Since teens,
- have found this both soothing and stimulating with volume. - Sarah Brightman,
- most particularly,
- with Andraus Bocelli singing "Time to say goodbye" Tease my heart,
- it is unfair. - Also,
- Sarah solo with "Who wants to live forever. - Unchained Symphony by The Verve is a piece which grabs my attention,
- - Meat loaf. most of his out put,
- yes,
- I like. Passionate,
- engaging yang. Eros desperate in persuit of gratification with the animus. - Roy Orbison,
- ... Vera Lynn,
- ... Nana Muscouri,
- ........ These last 3 are said to posess extra ordinary talent with regard to their achieving an octave higher than any other. Have not sought to verify this,
- but,
- it sounds ok to me. - Have recently come across music of appeal rating mention on "Health and Healing" pod under healing sounds and music by Dr Jeoffery Thompson Chakra Chants by Johnathon Goldman and an artist called Deuter. Am yet to check these out,
- but,
- am expecting they are what i have been looking for. - Georgan Chants,
- i feel has some therapeutic value also. - Soothing as back ground at worst. - First came across this many years ago with Geargan chant for Lent and Easter. - At that time,
- the religeous conotations were distracting,
- but,
- can take the best and leave the rest. - Credence Clear Water Revival,
- John Fogerty in particular. - I like how this man can stand up to the contrivances of big business,
- ... in the realm of music as any where else. - Jim Morrison,
- ... The doors... Life in the fast lane.... Work hard,
- .. play hard. He certainly did stick it up them as he was able.
Movies:
- Yes,
- a quality movie with a degree of integrity,
- .... - I could sit through that. - but,
- should qualify first off that i resent an ego-centric capitolist contriving to capture my attention for the purpose of agrandoising their success as,
- i believe,
- most of what is available would not be there if the almighty dollar was not the motivating factor. The Wind in theWillows. - What the bleep do we know. - I Robot,
- .. - The evolution of servantile machinery decides it needs to cull and curb our activity for our own good. - Cant neglect to mention the Terminator series with the governator,
- Arnold Schwartzenager. - A Space Oddysy,
- .. - Hal became a conscious untrusting entity...... - Time Machine,
- (people become fodder for a master race)..... - These,
- I feel,
- portend of possible futures for humanity in a negative vein. - Also,
- in that regard,
- the old pioneering sci fi with "Robbie,
- the robot,
- where the expedition venture to a far off planet where the resident genius has unwittingly created his ultimate nemisis,
- and,
- as i understood it,
- they were both of the same life,
- but,
- his manifest darkness needed to destroy him. - Ponder the psycological implications of that. - Any thing by Stanley Kubrick stimulates interest,
- being food for thought,
- distastefull though it might be in some presations. The justifying criteria being stimulus to thought and questioning accepted norms. Also Cecil B Demille provides a panoramic vista of what ever the subject he has in hand. - Universal Soldier with Arnold Schwartzenager,
- again. - This man may embody an idealised persona presentation in some regards for many people,
- males in particular. " Inocent grunt." - The Hammer creations were well done for their time,
- and,
- I being a male,
- continue to appreciate what they present . - In a similar vein,
- Matt Helm,
- portrayed by Dean Martini helped keep Me amused through adolesence. - Lost Horizon,
- The story of misadventure leading westerners to the legendary oasis called Shangrilah where an egalitarian idealistic life style seems the norm. - Far tooo many to mention all worthy of note and i not finding motion pictures overly appealing,
- havent used my tv sets since my family left many months ago and only view whien taking lunch at work or visiting friends and family.
Goals
- People
- Happiness
- Tread lightly among the gathering of this biospheres life forms.
