Where are we going.

These appear as heady days in our evolving as a society
with president Obamah calling for comprehensive downsizing
toward elimination of nuclear weopans.
For me, this is a first.
Our Australian and other western governments
dispensing resources to almost all, accompanied
by encouragement to spend like there is no tomorrow.
The frivolous greed of our captains of industry
bringing on the credit crunch and a near universal
recognition of the tangible threat of terrorism
and the power plays of war lords.
(This being most relavent in the 3rd world.)
For me these spell issues of security.
Not being overly burried in scripture of the bible,
a passage wich strikes my mind is the "mark of the beast",
where one is unable to buy or sell with out this facility.
I am inclined to view a credit card of some sort,
or micro chip perhaps, a device which would be
able to establish an individuals identity with certainty
resolving concerns re allocation to and use of resources.
Cash becomes redundant.
Also, such a device would resolve security issues,
re terrorism and crime at a personal
and collective level and seems inevitable.
